A Place I Wish I Was

I'm linking up today with Sugar and Spice for Wordless Wednesday.

My chalk drawing from the Chalk The Block event in our downtown area.  My Happy Place.

The coconuts are bit sketchy.  Looking at the picture, I realized I should have added a third one.

Where is your happy place?

Click the picture to check out the other Wordless Wednesday posts in the linky.

Have a great day!

    1. That is funny. I guess we're storing up those images in our mind for those days back in the classroom!

  2. At the moment... I'm thinking curled up under a blanket with a good book on a Snow Day. But when winter comes, I would pick a sunny island!!

    1. The heat gets to you, eh? I'm good with the heat as as long as I'm by water so I can jump in . Other than that, I prefer fall or spring weather -- 65-70 degrees, low humidity, slight breeze to keep it cool.

    1. I love the beach, too. We are headed to Topsail Island soon on a dual purpose trip -- one, to go on vacation, and two, to visit our son stationed in NC. Can't wait to sink my toes in the sand.

I love the Chalk the Block idea. It's held in conjunction with Art and Jazz Night in the downtown area. It was cool to see so many people, from adults to toddlers, on their knees intent on their drawings, AND to see how respectful people were walking on the sidewalks, being careful not to step on the drawings!

  4. My happy place is a mountain in West Virginia. My family has gone to Snowshoe to ski about 15 times over Christmas break and that area is gorgeous!

  5. This may sound so silly but my happy place is somewhere with a good margarita, chips, guac, and cheese dip. Sooooo...a Mexican restaurant? lol If it were a Mexican restaurant with an ocean view, I'd be SET! :)
