This picture cannot begin to say it all, to tell all that Teresa meant to our little group of online, but very real, bloggy friends. We love her and will miss her greatly.

I am so sorry you lost your dear friend. Teresa touched many people through her sharing of ideas and stories. I do believe it is very possible to develop close friendships through the social media we have now. It's not the perfect example, but when a favorite singer who I adored and followed in concerts died, I was heartbroken. Still am.

Thank you, Jeannine. Online friendships are very real. Our group has helped each other through down times and celebrated happy times together. We've held online baby showers for two new babies born into our group. We've given our opinions on planning weddings and choosing decorations.
ReplyDeleteWhen my son left for boot camp, I cried nearly every day to these girls. They always held out a hand and gave me a virtual hug. I had to be very careful with my real life friends, even my own mom, who said things like, "Are you still crying over him?"
It was such a shock to hear that Teresa had died.
I am sorry for your loss, she will be in my prayers.
